It's something in the way you didn't include father's eyes in the picture...kid's look and father's kinda aggressive pose...
I don't know, but I think this picture has more then eyes can see.

I can disappoint you, but it actually has rather less than more. I found this picture in folder with my photos from primary school, "The father" is our form teacher, and "the son" is my friend

And i thought that there is something in this gesture. I've made it black and white and i croped it - removing "father's" eyes. And it has made this trivial picture imo quite interesting photo about father-son relations. You got my message
